The museum stands inside Buddha Jambudweep Park at Sanchi, directly opposite the Archaeological Survey of India’s Sanchi Museum and a short distance from the Great Stupa. It is built as an orientation: the eight rooms are arranged to make the monuments on the hill legible before you walk up to them.
